Our Visit to Cory B. Wride Memorial Park
We went to Cory B. Wride Memorial Park on a warm Thursday evening around 5 PM. Ambry was showing some homes in the area, and we decided to make it a Fisco Frenzy! It was a spontaneous adventure, inspired by Blake Shelton's song, "Drop Everything." The kids jumped into their swimsuits, and I quickly packed a bottle for our youngest, Ollie. The drive from Saratoga Springs to this park is approximately 20-25 minutes, depending on local traffic.
Upon arrival, Ambry dropped us off, and we headed straight to the splash pad. Although Ollie was asleep, we realized we didn't have a way to thaw his milk since the public restrooms didn't have hot water. Fortunately, with the temperature around 95 degrees, we found a bench in the sun and placed the milk there. Within 10 minutes, the milk was ready, and Ollie took his bottle.
We explored the park and all its features. Cory B. Wride Memorial Park spans 65 acres, offering a variety of playgrounds and recreational pads for all ages (Eagle Mountain City) (Eagle Mountain City). The kids absolutely loved the splash pad, but we also spent considerable time on the playgrounds. It was a fantastic place to get out and enjoy the sun!
